The new issue of LIES/ISLE is out:
I’m in it, so that makes me very happy.
Also, you might be interested to know that the theme for LIES/ISLE‘s next issue is THE EROTICS OF A QUEER FANTASTIQUE, the description of which you can find under their submission guidelines. The theme has a number of great starting points: “the erotic fantastique tradition in French literature and the tradition of Euro-Horror films in general”–but queered; “the films of Jean Rollin, Jess Franco & Alberto Cavallone re-considered with an explicitly queer sexuality”; “[the] novels of Alain Robbe-Grillet, Pauline Reage, Georges Bataille, Mario Mercier, with a contemporary queer bent”; “the obscene & the empty, the sacred and the profane, all the while refusing an insistent heterosexuality.”
Needless to say, I’m looking forward to this next issue of work just as much as I’m enjoying the current one.
